Pool Deck Recoating
The key to any successful pool deck resurfacing job is surface compatibility and preparation. Determining the right product for a recoat varies with each job, and depends on what was applied in the first place. After testing the pool deck, we can determine what product was originally used and what the proper preparation, products and procedures must be followed for compatibility and maximum adhesion of the new product.
Paver Sealing
If you have a paver pool deck, our sister company, First Coast Home Pros, can apply a paver sealer to protect and beautify the pavers while maintaining the unique appearance of the pool deck. A sealer helps to protect your pavers from fading and staining, and is a worthwhile maintenance procedure for any pool deck.
Are the pavers on your pool deck sealed?
That is a good question. It is fairly simple to determine for yourself whether your pavers have been sealed or not. If water on the surface settles into the paver, the pavers have either not been sealed, or the previous sealer has deteriorated and needs re-applied. If water beads up on the surface, the pavers have been sealed and only routine cleaning is necessary at this time.
In addition to protecting the pavers from the elements, a sealer can play an important role in the look of your pool deck. We offer a variety of natural, wet look, and color enhancing solutions that will both maintain and beautify the pavers, keeping your pool deck in tip-top shape.
Minor Repairs
If you have cracking in your concrete pool deck or your pavers are sinking or unlevel, you likely have some underlying erosion or settling issues.
While we cannot prevent future erosion or settling, we can advise you about any existing cracks as to what may be possible to repair them.
